Step 3: Printing Files
Preparing the printing files, also known as file preparation or pre-press, refers to the preparation of the artwork or design that is sent to the manufacturer for printing. The printing file is achieved through Adobe Illustrator.
Step 5: Laser Cut File
Since the product comes in flat pack design, it will be divided into parts. Through Adobe Illustrator, we are able to convert vector files to .dwg, which is the format needed in the Laser Cutting software.
Step 6: 3D Rendering
3D rendering is the process of creating a photorealistic 2D image or animation based on three-dimensional data. To render the 3D model, our team used Keyshot software.
Step 7: Manual
Flat pack products come as custom DIY kits, allowing people to build the product on their own. This makes a manual a must-have on every kit to help them understand how to handle and assemble their flat pack product in the correct manner.
