Nikki, the indomitable leader of our industrial design team, is the embodiment of experience and vision. With a background steeped in the art of industrial design, Nikki has been a driving force at Mindsparkz. Her leadership has played a pivotal role in shaping our design team into a powerhouse of innovation.
Nikki’s creative wellspring overflows as she finds inspiration in drawing captivating illustrations, immersing herself in the world of novels, exploring the realms of cinema, and harmonizing her days with the melodies of music. Under her guidance, our design team soars to new heights, crafting products that transcend the ordinary and redefine your brand’s image.
2. Matilda – The Enthusiastic Junior
Matilda, our dynamic junior industrial designer, represents the embodiment of fresh and unbridled creativity. Armed with a degree in Industrial Design from her college days, Matilda joined the Mindsparkz family in April, and her enthusiasm has been infectious ever since.
Beyond her design prowess, Matilda is a well-rounded individual who finds joy in reading books, indulging in the magic of cinema, embracing the tranquillity of yoga, and showcasing her athleticism through badminton.
Her dedication to updating her knowledge daily mirrors her commitment to staying at the forefront of the design world, making her an invaluable asset to our creative process.
3. Ha – The Multi-Tasker
Ha studied graphic and multimedia design. She took part in the Mindsparkz adventure 2 years ago. She’s one of our talented graphic designers, but she’s also a superstar when it comes to office management and administration. She fears no challenge and no pile of paperwork (no matter how big they are!).
She uses Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign when it comes to graphics and layout and Premiere and After Effects for video editing. She feels fulfilled, making sure we submit the best designs possible to our retainer clients. In her spare time, she loves watching movies, handcrafting and travelling. She’s dreaming about a peaceful countryside retirement.
4. Harley -The Design Dynamo
Harley pursued industrial design studies and never got tired of continuing on learning. She’s a very experienced product designer and joined Mindsparkz 2 years ago. She has amazing sketching abilities, masters different Adobe software such as Photoshop and Illustrator and also creates awesome 3D renders using Rhino 6.0 and Keyshot – it all depends on the project! But one thing we’ll tell you – you can assign almost any task to her, and she will do it fast, and she will do it well! Her favourite projects here at Mindsparkz are Packaging and POS Displays.
Beyond her professional achievements, Harley’s personal interests reveal her dedication to the art of creation. Whether she’s lost in the pages of a good book, painting on a canvas, or immersed in DIY projects, her creativity knows no bounds. She aspires to foster her professional development continuously, striving for excellence alongside her colleagues at Mindsparkz.
5. Pauline – The Perfectionist Maven
Pauline’s journey into the world of industrial design is marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence. With a solid foundation in industrial design, she became an invaluable addition to our team in 2019. If there’s one word to describe Pauline, it’s “perfectionist.” Her extraordinary attention to detail sets her apart as the true connoisseur of precision on our team.
As a product designer, Pauline works her magic using a combination of software, including Solidworks and Keyshot, to create breathtaking 3D renders. At Mindsparkz, our designers each have their preferred tools of the trade, ensuring that regardless of the program used, the end result is consistently spectacular.
She likes to work on projects such as Bobbleheads and POS displays. Pauline is also very experienced in preparing mockups to simulate the final look of products before being produced by the factory or preparing final 3D files that are later used for moulds or 3D printing.
Outside of her professional life, Pauline’s interests are as vibrant as her designs. She finds solace in the pages of books and expresses her creativity through the medium of watercolour. Her dreams extend beyond the design studio; she aspires to launch her own coffee shop, a haven for design students to unleash their creativity and collaborate in an inspiring environment.
6. Lam – The Visual Alchemist
Lam’s journey in the world of design is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the art of visual communication. Armed with a degree in graphic and visual communication design, Lam has been an indispensable part of our team for several years. What sets Lam apart is his extraordinary creativity and remarkable illustrating skills that never cease to amaze us.
Like his fellow team members, Lam is a daily maestro with Adobe’s creative suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. But where Lam truly shines is in the realm of drawing and digital illustration. His artistic prowess knows no bounds, and his skills consistently leave us in awe.
Beyond the world of design, Lam’s passions come alive in the waters and on the slopes. He’s an avid swimmer and skier, finding solace and inspiration in the embrace of nature.
